¡Qué alegro verte en mi inbox otra vez! I've absolutely loved your framing of a sabbatical (so much we think of stopping or leaving something as a permanent action similar to failure) that is still right there where we've left it. Cuida tus semillas 🌱 Me diste permiso para reconocer donde puedo (y honestamente, debo) dejar unos proyectos. Time is a luxury, a necessity, and a resource pa' aprovechar. Como siempre, tus palabras me inspiran. ¡Abrazos!
Amiga linda, tu mensaje me alegró el día! I have this problem both with food and projects - I bite off more than I can chew haha. I want to do all the things! But we gotta leave some stuff behind to make room for the new, no? El tiempo es pa' aprovechar exactly as we choose, sin sentirnos culpables! Tu también me inspiras mucho! Abrazotes!!
The way you transformed my question about where in the world you are right now, to where is your head at the moment, has gone and sparked that question in me as well now !
I think I've written a grand total of two posts this year with my mind being busy on other things, and yet my body is still doing the same crazy travelling as last year.. Time to shake some cobwebs out of there and resurface methinks !
Aww thank YOU for the inspiration! I honestly am very surprised you've only written two posts this year because I feel your presence on Substack so much more than that! I think it's a good reminder that while we're hard on ourselves believing that what we do is not enough, for others it might not feel that way at all! So interesting!
It is so refreshing to see you back. Wonderful update and appreciated. Self, still in Mexico until September and then head to Texas for three months and finally, return to Mexico for the winter. Hoping to pick up a White Lab puppy for Sasha and self to adopt and train. Stay well
Hello, Bob! So good to hear from you. It's good to be back after a little time "away". Sounds like Mexico is treating you well too! Will you be heading back to the Jalisco area (I think you were in Ajijic)? So wonderful you'll be getting a puppy for Sasha and you! Ah, what a cute little addition to the family that will be!
It's so good to see you back in my inbox. I have been on a newsletter break for the past month, I am slowly coming back. I am grateful for the reminder about, "the seeds GROWING." ❤️ xo Carla
Thank you so much! Good for you for taking a break - we need more of those!! I'm glad you're coming back but doing it slowly, at your pace, letting things grow even if you're not there to watch :) I'm excited to get your next post (since creativity is so big in my life right now), whenever you feel ready for it. Un abrazo!! ❤️

There’s that phrase again: “We’ve moved to Mexico!” ❤️ Shakes me up… in a good way… I think. 🤔
Mmm, I like that you're figuring out how that phrase makes you feel 😊

I love the way you see things :)) Maybe we all just stress too much about how others perceive us !!
